Logging workouts (mobile)
How clients work through an assigned workout in the app — logging each set's reps, weight and RPE in the standard logger, or following along in the video-guided player and marking each move done.
Basic Clients do their workouts in the mobile app. The experience depends on the workout’s type: Standard and Simple open the logger; Video-guided opens the follow-along player.
The logger (Standard & Simple)
The day’s workout appears grouped by section (and any supersets/circuits clustered together). For each exercise the client sees a set-by-set table and fills it in as they go:
What the client can do:
- Log every set — type reps, weight (and any other prescribed unit), and an RPE; tap the circle to mark it done.
- Notes — leave a per-exercise note for you.
- History — pin recent past logs inline and reuse last time’s numbers in one tap.
- Adjust on the fly — where custom workouts are enabled, add a set, swap an exercise, or add one.
- Session stopwatch — a manual timer in the header tracks elapsed time. (The standard logger shows rest as a hint, not an automatic countdown — that countdown is part of the video-guided player.)
When they finish, Complete workout asks for a quick rating — how hard it was, how much they enjoyed it, and their energy after (each 1–5), plus optional notes. They can also pause & save to resume later, or cancel.
The video-guided player
Video-guided workouts play a demo video per exercise and walk the client through, hands-free. They watch the move, do it, and mark it done — there’s no manual set entry; the app records which sets/rounds were completed.
Between exercises (and group rounds) a rest countdown appears with the next move queued up — the client can skip, replay, or pause it:
Either way, when the session ends the client gives the same quick difficulty / enjoyment / energy rating — and it all flows back to your dashboard.
