Shop & billing

Sell to your clients and get paid: products and packages, subscriptions and renewals, installment plans, purchases and invoices, and your shop configuration.

The Shop is your storefront for clients. Create products and packages, take one-off and recurring payments, and track every order and invoice in one place.

This section covers:

  • Products: the packages, session packs, bundles, and digital or physical offerings you sell, how a client pays for each, and what access a purchase grants.
  • Subscriptions & renewals: recurring billing and how renewals are timed.
  • Selling in installments: split a one-time purchase into dated payments, record full or partial payments, see at a glance which plans are overdue, due soon, on track or fully paid, and set up client reminders and late-payment alerts.
  • Purchases & invoices: the shop dashboard, creating purchases for clients or guests, the statuses a purchase moves through, session credits, pausing, and working with invoices.
  • Shop settings: your Stripe connection, tax rates, invoice branding and business details, and payment reminders.

Where to start

Selling something for the first time is three steps: set up tax rates and, if you take cards, Stripe, create a product, then record the purchase. If the client is paying over time rather than all at once, sell the same product as an installment plan.

Reminder: the Shop is how you bill your clients. Your own Protocol subscription lives under Account & settings → Billing.
