Leads and low-ticket members

Your roster has three tiers. Leads cost you nothing, low-ticket members get the app without your time, and clients get everything. Here is what each one can use and what each one costs.

Everybody in your app sits on one of three tiers. They all share the same screens, the same search and the same history. What changes is how much of the product they get, how much of your time they take, and whether they count toward your plan.

Which tier somebody belongs on

A lead has signed up and bought nothing. They can browse your content, book a call and buy from your shop, and that is deliberately all: those three are what turn a lead into a customer. They get no programme and no tracking, which is exactly why they cost you nothing. Put somebody here when you want an audience rather than a roster.

A low-ticket member has bought something cheap. They get the app properly: a programme, workout tracking, progress, habits. What they do not get by default is you, because chat and AI nutrition are off unless you switch them on.

A client gets everything your app has switched on, with you attached as their coach.

What each tier costs you

Leads are free, and there is no limit on them. Collect as many as you like on any plan, including the free one. This is the whole reason the tier exists.

Low-ticket members count toward your plan, the same as a client. That surprises some coaches, so it is worth being straight about why: a low-ticket member uses the same app, the same programmes and the same tracking a client does. What differs is how you sell to them, and we do not price that. If somebody is using your app, they count.

What you get instead is volume pricing. The more people you have, the less each one costs, so running a large low-ticket membership is priced for what it is rather than billed at the same rate as a handful of one-to-one clients. Your plan and its current rate are under Billing, in the menu behind your own name at the top right.

Where to find them

Open Clients. The three rows at the top of the Segments column down the left are Clients, Low ticket and Leads. The three rosters never mix, and search, sorting, labels and columns work the same on all of them. See Finding a client.

Leads and low-ticket members are not assigned to a coach, which is what keeps them out of your working day: they generate no check-in reminders, no escalations, and they are not swept into your broadcast groups.

Deciding what a self-registration becomes

Go to My App → Authentication, and find What self-registered people become.

  • Lead: anybody who signs up through your link gets content, booking and the shop, and nothing else. Costs you nothing.
  • Low-ticket member (the default): they get the app too. This is what happens if you never touch this setting.
  • Full client: self-registrations become full clients immediately.

The line under the switch always tells you what the tier you have selected actually gets.

This only affects people who sign up on their own. Anybody you add yourself takes the tier of the list you added them from: add from the Leads list and you get a lead, add from the Clients list and you get a client.

Choosing what a tier can use

Go to My App → Features and scroll to the bottom. There are two cards, Low-ticket members and Leads, with the same nine rows and the same three settings each:

Chat Progress Tracking
Nutrition Tracking Daily Habits
Workout Tracking Scheduling
Custom Workouts Shop
Wearables
  • Inherit: they get whatever your main clients get. If you turn the shop off for everyone, it is off for them too.
  • On: force the feature on for this tier only.
  • Off: force it off for this tier only, even when your clients have it.

Some rows start at Default (off) rather than Inherit, and which ones differ per tier:

  • Low-ticket members have two off: Chat and Nutrition Tracking, the two that cost you real time and real money.
  • Leads have seven off, everything you would actually deliver. Only Scheduling and Shop are left alone, because booking a call and buying something are what convert a lead, so one you have never configured stays free.

Turning a feature off here hides it in the app and blocks it on the server, so it cannot be reached another way. Turning one on for leads does not start charging you for them.

Moving somebody between tiers

Tick one or more people in the list and a bar appears along the bottom. It offers every tier except the one you are looking at, so you can promote a lead straight to a client without stopping at low-ticket, plus Archive.

Convert to client moves them to the full tier, assigns them to you, and adds them to your broadcast groups. From that moment they are an ordinary client.

Move to low ticket and Move to leads are the mirror: they end the coaching assignment and take the person out of your broadcast groups. Moving somebody to lead also takes away their programme and tracking, and is the only move that stops them counting toward your plan.

Each one confirms first, then works through the selection one person at a time and tells you how many it moved.

All of it is reversible, and everything they already did stays with them whichever way they move. Converting somebody again later starts a fresh coaching assignment rather than reviving the old one.

Things worth knowing

  • A lead here is not a form submission. This is somebody with a real login who uses your app, just with very little in it. A name captured by a form and never invited is not on any tier.
  • Existing people were not touched when the Leads tier arrived. Nobody moved tiers on their own, and nothing about your current roster changed.
  • You still get notified when somebody registers, whatever tier they land on.
