Stage & labels in the chat list
See which pipeline stage a client is in and which labels they carry without leaving chat, and narrow the inbox to just those clients.
When you work the inbox you are really deciding who to answer first, and what decides it is usually not the last message. A client flagged risky is a different conversation from one flagged upsell signal, even when both rows say “Thanks!”.
So the chat list carries that context on the row itself.
What the second line shows
Under the client’s name you get their pipeline stage, then their labels, separated by a pipe:
A few deliberate details:
- Only where there is something to say. A client with no stage and no labels gets no second line, rather than an empty one.
- Never on groups. A group has no single client, so it has no stage and no labels. Showing one member’s would be misleading.
- Labels are capped. Past the first two you get +N; hover it to read the rest.
Filtering the inbox
Beside All / Unread / Drafts there is a filter icon. It opens a short menu of your pipeline stages and your client labels.
- Tick any combination. Matching is any, not all: pick
riskyandupsell signaland you get clients carrying either one. - Stage and label combine, so you can ask for “everyone in Trial who is flagged risky”.
- While a filter is on, the icon carries a dot, and Clear in the menu removes it.
The filter runs on the server across your whole inbox, not just the conversations currently loaded, so a match far down a long list still surfaces.
Your labels stay yours. Stages and labels are coach-side only. Clients never see them, in the app or anywhere else, which is what makes them safe to write honestly.
Labels are managed from your client list. See Client labels.
