Progress & reports
Check-in reminders and time windows, saving drafts, units, where logged reports land, and a few behaviours that look like bugs but aren't.
Can the app remind clients when it’s time to fill their weekly report?
Yes — it sends a push notification and shows an on-screen to-do when a report is due. You can schedule the reminder time (e.g. early Friday so it greets clients when they wake).
A scheduled report or reminder didn’t arrive — can I push one now?
Reminders fire within about a 30-minute window around the scheduled time and need a form attached. Don’t edit a past-time reminder to “push” it — use the reminder’s Send now button, or create a Client TODO for an immediate one-off.
Can I stop clients submitting their weekly report whenever they want?
Yes — mark a report/reminder as time-limited. Clients see the allowed window in the app, and if they miss it the form is hidden, keeping submissions on schedule.
Can clients save a half-finished report and come back later?
Yes — newer app versions auto-save a draft as they fill it and prompt to save on exit. Only Submit sends it to you, and within the same day they can reopen the draft to add photos first.
What happens if a client skips a weekly report?
Only one report of a given type is active at a time. If it isn’t filled before the next is due, the old one is cleared and a fresh one created (in-progress drafts can be saved locally).
Where do I read a client’s past check-in reports?
Open the client → Tracking → Check-ins for the full list (click any entry for detail), or Progress Overview → Form responses. The list shows only reports the client actually submitted. See Check-ins & progress tracking.
How do I get a client to log their weight daily, with a reminder?
Create a Progress-entry form with just the weight field, then schedule it as a daily reminder (push). Ignored reminders don’t pile up — the app simply shows the latest one.
How do I switch a client from kg to lbs?
Units follow each profile’s own setting — coach and client each have their own. Set imperial on the profile in question. The display defaults to the viewer’s unit unless an explicit unit was typed into a value (e.g. “20kg” stays kg).
Why can’t I add a background image to my check-in form?
Use the dedicated Progress check-in form type for weekly check-ins — it maps answers to Tracking and supports reminders, but intentionally skips background theming. General single/multi-page forms (for onboarding/lead-gen) do support background images.
A pre-cooperation questionnaire showed up as a Progress Entry — is that a bug?
No, that’s expected: when a questionnaire includes a stat field (like weight), submitting it creates a baseline progress entry so the metric has a starting point to chart from.
The log shows different reps/weight than I programmed — did the client change it?
The log shows the last logged value for that exercise across any workout, not necessarily this session’s plan. A session copies the programmed values when it starts, but the client can log what they actually did — and if the same exercise appears in several workouts, the most recent log anywhere shows.
How do I track a reminder for a client — like chasing a second payment?
On the client profile use Client Tasks — add a task with a due date and assignee. The Overview page surfaces tasks coming due near the top so they don’t slip.
