Release 1.5.2

June 14, 2026 — richer chat, AI-drafted check-in summaries, Apple Health / Google / Whoop and Google Calendar sync, smarter nutrition logging, team library controls, global search, and a batch of billing and Tasks fixes.

v1.5.2June 14, 2026

A big follow-up to 1.5.1: richer team chat, AI-drafted check-in summaries, connections to Apple Health, Google and Whoop, smarter nutrition logging against real food databases, library controls for multi-coach teams, app-wide global search, and a solid batch of billing, Tasks, and scheduling fixes.

Messaging & chat

  • New Richer chat — formatting, mentions & editing — Compose messages with formatting, @-mention people to get their attention, and edit a message after you’ve sent it. Learn more →
  • New Group access controls — Make a group read-only, or restrict posting to admins only — useful for announcement-style groups. Learn more →
  • Fixed Group messages show reliably on web — Messages sent into a group chat from the web app now appear for everyone, every time.

Progress & check-ins

  • New AI-drafted check-in summaries — When a client submits a check-in, Protocol drafts a structured progress report for you — built from your past reports and the client’s voice notes so it reads in your voice. You review, edit, and approve; the approved report is then delivered straight to the client (in-app and push), rather than getting lost in the chat thread.

Integrations

  • New Connect Apple Health, Google & Whoop — Link your clients’ wearables and health apps so their activity and health data flow into Protocol. Learn more →
  • New Full Google Calendar sync — Two-way Google Calendar sync is restored and improved, so appointments stay in step between Protocol and your calendar.

Nutrition

  • New Smarter food logging from real databases — Logging a food in the app now looks it up against real food databases, so macros are accurate without manual entry.
  • New Custom foods from the label — Clients can enter a food straight from its label (calories, protein, carbs, fat), and tracking checks your curated food list first before looking elsewhere.

Team accounts

  • New Team & organization mode — For multi-coach teams, choose whether programs, workouts, exercises and nutrition templates are private to a coach or shared across the team — with a clean import flow so coaches can reuse shared content as their own copy.

Shop & billing

  • Fixed Purchases save with the right product and price — Creating a purchase from a client’s billing no longer comes through as $0 with no product selectable.
  • Fixed Renewed subscriptions show as Active — A subscription that was cancelled and then renewed no longer shows a “14-day trial” overlay or a Trial tag — it correctly reads as Active.
  • Fixed Manual renewals add the right amount of time — Manually renewing a time-limited subscription no longer always adds an extra period.

Tasks & boards

  • Fixed Task descriptions render properly — Formatted text shows correctly instead of raw Markdown (and trailing spaces no longer appear as stray characters).
  • Fixed Edit subtasks in place — Subtask text can be edited directly, without deleting and recreating it.
  • Fixed Add columns to existing boards — New columns can be added to boards you’ve already created.
  • Fixed Deleting a board moves its tickets — When you delete a board, its tickets move to the default board as the UI promises.
  • Fixed You’re redirected after deleting a board — Deleting a board now takes you to the default board (or an empty Tasks tab) instead of leaving you on the deleted one.

Reminders & scheduling

  • Fixed Every-other-week reminders fire on the right week — Biweekly appointment reminders and check-in reminders now land on the correct fortnight instead of slipping to the wrong week.

App-wide

  • New Global search — Jump straight to any screen, client, or entity from a single search box.
